| Abstract | The four Southeast European Hypnophila species are characterized conchologically. Their ranges are indicated on the basis of reliable records and summarized in a distribution map. The nomenclature is revised: a neotype is selected for H. polita (Porro, 1838), a lectotype is selected for H. pupaeformis (Cantraine, 1835), and a persistent error in the interpretation of H. zacynthia (Roth, 1855) is corrected. |
