Abstract	Platycypha eliseva spec. nov. and Mesocnemis saralisa spec. nov. are described from Lokutu (formerly Elisabetha) in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The taxonomy and distribution of Platycypha and Mesocnemis are discussed and keys are provided for the males.
