Abstract	The Palaearctic genus Trachyusa Ruthe, 1854 (Braconidae: Alysiinae: Alysiini) is revised and one new species, T. nigrothoracica spec. nov., is described and fully illustrated. A key to the species is added. Lectotypes are designated of Alysia aurora Haliday, 1838 and of Trachyusa nigriceps Ruthe, 1854.
