Abstract	A new genus of Dimylidae (Insectivora, Mammalia) is described from the Lower Miocene of Anatolia. This genus, Turkodimylus n.g. contains two species, Turkodimylus hartogi n.g. n.sp. from Kilçak 3A and Harami land Turkodimylus sondaari n.g. n.sp. from Keseköy. The literature on the Dimylidae is reviewed and a new classification is suggested.
