Abstract	Olbiosyrphus laetus, a hoverfly new for the Dutch fauna (Diptera: Syrphidae) The first record of Olbiosyrphus laetus (Fabricius, 1794) for the Netherlands is presented. The specimen was collected with a malaisetrap in the nature reserve ‘De Krang’ near Swartbroek (province of Limburg). Some information is provided on the habitat and biology. A key to the species of Xanthogramma and Olbiosyrphus occurring in the Netherlands is presented.
