Abstract	The Choleva agilis-group is revised. The three species are redescribed and their zoogeography is discussed. The phylogeny of the three species is hypothesized. Choleva jailensis Jeannel, 1923 and C. agilis clermonti van der Wiel, 1931 are new synonyms of C. agilis (Illiger, 1798). C. lederiana var. brevicollis Krogerus, 1926, is a new synonym of C. lederiana Reitter, 1901. The cavernicolous taxon gracilenta Szymczakowski, 1957, formerly regarded as a subspecies of C. lederiana, is transferred to C. septentrionis Jeannel, 1923.
