Abstract	A new subterranean species of Zonitidae, Lindbergia (?) karainensis spec. nov., is described. It is known from Karain and Suluin, two neighbouring caves about 30 km NNW of Antalya (SWAsia Minor, Turkey), where shells of it have been found in late pleistocene and holocene deposits. Its anatomy is unknown. The systematic position of the new species, based only on conchological and ecological characteristics, is not entirely certain.
