Abstract	Pygostolus falcatus auct. consists of two species: Pygostolus falcatus (Nees, 1834) and P. otiorhynchi (Boudier, 1834). Both species are redescribed and illustrated. A key to all described species is provided. A neotype is designated for Leiophron falcatus Nees, 1834.
