Abstract	summary And the name is .... Synarmadillo pallidus (Crustacea: Isopoda: Armadillidae) In Soesbergen (2003) an unidentified Synarmadillo species was mentioned as a first record for the Dutch fauna. The isopod was found in a greenhouse in the zoo of Blijdorp, Rotterdam. A study of the literature on Synarmadillo has now clarified the specific status: its name is Synarmadillo pallidus Arcangeli, 1950.
