Abstract	Two new freshwater crabs, Stoliczia (Johora) punicea spec. nov. and S. (J.) tiomanensis counsilmani subspec. nov., are described from streams in Pulau Tioman, West Malaysia. Taxonomic notes are added of S (J.) tiomanensis tiomanensis Ng & Tan, 1984. New records of the carideans Macrobrachium pilimanus (De Man, 1879) and Caridina typus H. Milne Edwards, 1834, are presented for the island.
