AbstractHove, H. A. ten & G. San Martin, 1994. Serpulidae (Polychaeta) from the “I Expedición Cubano-Española” to Isla de la Juventud and Archipiélago de los Canarreos (Cuba). Studies Nat. Hist. Caribbean Region 72: Amsterdam 1995: 13-24. Fourteen taxa of the family Serpulidae (Polychaeta, Annelida), excluding Spirorbinae, have been collected during the “I Expedición Cubano-Española” on the coast of Cuba: * Hydroides gairacensis, H. cf. mucronatus, H. parvus, H. spec. A, * Pomatostegus stellatus, Pseudovermilia fuscostriata, P. multispinosa, P. occidentalis, Rhodopsis pusilla, * Salmacina: spec., Sclerostyla ctenactis, Spirobranchus giganteus: sensu stricto, S. polycerus and Vermiliopsis annulata. Except for those marked with an *, they are new to the Cuban fauna. All taxa are well known from the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico area. Other literature records are discussed.
