Abstract	A new species of the genus Apanteles Foerster, 1862 (subgenus Choeras Mason, 1981) from The Netherlands is described and illustrated. The new species is reported to be a parasitoid of larvae of terrestrial Trichoptera (Limnophilidae), which is the first report of this order as host of Braconidae. A key to the European species of the subgenus Choeras Mason is added.
