Abstract	The new species Phyllogomphoides spiniventris spec. nov., P. suspectus spec. nov. and P. pseudangularis spec. nov. are described and illustrated. The male of P. calverti is discussed and figured. The hitherto unknown male of P. praedatrix is described. A key to the South-American species of Phyllogomphoides is added.
