| Abstract | A new species of the Indo-Australian genus Shelfordia Cameron, 1902, viz. S longicaudata spec. nov. from Sikkim (India) with an exceptionally long ovipositor is described and illustrated. The Shelfordiagroup is not recognized, and the genus Rostraulax Quicke, 1984, is synonymized with Shelfordia. |
