Abstract	An annotated check-list concerning the molluscan fauna of the two highest peaks in the Parnon Oros, Peloponnisos, Greece, is provided, with emphasis on distributional data. The localities reported upon are situated only 15 km apart. Nevertheless, they are quite different in species composition. From one of these isolated peaks and from a second locality in another mountain range, Idyla pelobsoleta spec, nov., is described. The insular character of the two Parnon peaks, especially with regard to their clausiliid species, is emphasized.
