Abstract	The E. beckeri group of Edessa Fabricius, 1803 (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae: Edessinae) from Brazil and Guyana’s is proposed and three new species are described- Edessa beckeri spec. nov., Edessa xingu spec. nov. and Edessa amazonica spec. nov. The habitus, the metasternal shield, and the external genital characters of the three species are illustrated and the distribution is given. The drawings are made by the first author, the photographs by the second author. Measurements are given in millimetres.
