This is the ninth compilation of Microlepidoptera collected in The Netherlands, covering the year 1995. Four spccies are recorded for the first time from The Netherlands. Nemapogon inconditella (Tineidae) was collected in a light trap in the eastern part of the country. One specimen of Elachista pomerana (Elachistidae) was collected at light and two others were collected in a malaise trap in the northwestern part of the province of Overijssel. Of Elachista eleochariella two specimens were swept from the vegetation at dusk not far from the previous location. One specimen of Scrobipalpula tussilaginis (Gelechiidae) was already collected in 1988 in the southeast of the country, but was not reported so far. Two species have to be removed from the Dutch list: Phyllonorycter cydoniella (Gracillariidae) and Scrobipalpula psilella (Gelechiidae). After redetermination of the specimens under the name of P. cydoniella in the collections it was evident that the specimens involved belong to other species of Phyllonorycter feeding on Rosaceae. Scrobipalpa psilella, mentioned in the annual list of 1994 (Huisman & Koster, 1997), also belongs to S. tussilaginis. Referring to Scholz (1996) we examined the species of the Epermenia illigerella-complex. Both Epermenia illigerella and E. falciformes occur in The Netherlands. Epermenia falciformes is the most common of the two and has been found in most parts of the country, E. illigerella is mainly restricted to the southern part. The latter seems to be a more recent addition to our fauna and has been collected for the first time in 1968.
