In this study the insectivores from the Upper Aragonian and the Lower Vallesian of the Daroca-Villafeliche area in the Calatayud-Teruel Basin (Spain) are described and compared with related insectivore species from other European localities. The paleoecological significance of the insectivores is evaluated. The species described are: Galerix exilis, Galerix socialis, Desmanella crusafonti, Miosorex grivensis, and Crusafontina endemica. An attempt is made to separate G. exilis from G. socialis on the basis of size and morphology.
