| Abstract | The aptychi of the Berriasian to Barremian strata of the Río Argos succession near Caravaca (SE Spain) are described. One new subspecies is introduced, Lamellaptychus angulocostatus gracilicostatus, from the latest Hauterivian Ohmi Zone (ammonite zone). Like in the Eastern Alps also in Southern Spain Punctaptychus persists into the late Berriasian. |
