| Abstract | Twelve species of favositids are described. They are derived from silicified boulders found in Pliocene (?) deposits of the Island of Sylt, Germany. Paleofavosites is the dominant genus in this material. Two new species are described, viz. Paleofavosites oekentorpi and Favosites schuddebeursi. |
