| Abstract | Diopsis nigrasplendens spec. nov. is described from the Drakensberg, South Africa. The black Diopsis species are divided into groups and some earlier established synonymies are rejected. D. nigrasplendens takes an isolated position in its genus, but is probably related to both the gnugroup and the carbonaria-group. |
