|Title||Revision notes on some species of the Genus Therapon (Pisces, Theraponidae)|
|Abstract||Very soon after publication of a description of a new species of Therapon from Western Australia (Mees, 1963), I became aware that I had misidentified one of the species mentioned in the discussion of the affinities of the new species. Originally I intended to write only a short supplementary paper, to rectify the error, but as more material became available, my notes expanded, until it appeared to me that longer postponement of their publication would not be likely to add much of significance. The paper as now published falls far short of a revision; rather, it contains a number of scattered notes on various species, adding, I hope, a little to knowledge of their distribution and affinities, and for that reason I have given it its somewhat vague title.|
