A first survey covering 18 species from the eastern Alps (7 Craspedosomatidae, 2 Neoatractosomatidae, 4 Attemsiidae, 1 Mastigophorophyllidae, 2 Chordeumatidae, 2 Haaseidae) shows, that identification of chordeumatid females, difficult especially in a diverse fauna from peripheral characters alone, might be facilitated greatly by a closer observation of their vulvae.
