Description of three freshwater species of Echinogammarus: E. cannubinensis n. sp., E. tabu arcadiensis n. ssp. from the Lebanon, and E. palmyrensis n. sp. from Tadmor (Palmyra) in the Syrian desert. These taxa are related to E. pungens H. Milne Edwards, to E. stammeri S. Karaman and to E. tabu G.S. Karaman.
