The purpose of the Nederlandse Groenland Expeditie 1975 was the study of Long-tailed Skua (de Korte, see page 6) and several species of waders (Bosman, see page 4) in the Scoresbysund region (East Greenland). In addition to skua’s and waders we studied breeding biology of geese in spring and growth and mortality of Arctic Tern chicks on Fame Øer in August. These studies were a continuation of previous work in the area (de Korte, 1973 and 1974). We choose another base than in 1973 and 1974 (Kap Stewart) and worked mainly near Kaerelv at the head of Hurry Inlet. Forty eight bird specimens belonging to 12 species were collected and skinned. The stomach contents have been preserved in spirits for subsequent examination.
