Lately the Leyden Museum purchased from the zoological collection of the Utrecht missionary-union some objects, which give rise to the following lines. The Utrecht missionary-union had, during several years, missionaries working on western New Guinea; they were established at Andai and Doreh on the north-westcoast of the Geelvink Bay.
