AbstractA new species of icriocarcinid crab, Branchiocarcinus pacificus, is described from the uppermost Cretaceous Moreno Formation of California; in addition, an indeterminate species of the same genus is recorded from the Campanian of Hornby Island, Vancouver Island, Canada. The wide distribution of the Icriocarcinidae during the Late Cretaceous is confirmed.
