After the publication of my paper on the Convolvulaceae of New Guinea (Nova Guinea n.s. 6,1955,1—32) several new collections were made in this island. Some of these contain species up till then unknown from New Guinea, other give a better idea on the distribution within the island of species earlier found there. All specimens are in the Rijksherbarium, Leiden. Merremia emarginata (Burm. f.) Hallier f.; Ooststr., Blumea 3 (1939) 312; Fl. Mal. I, 4 (1953) 444; 1.e. I, 5 (1958) 560. West New Guinea.
