Review

This is the second issue of that very valuable new series of annual supplements to the Index Kewensis, the first of which was announced in Blumea 33 (1988) 214. This means that a survey of all new names of Phanerogams, Ferns and Fern allies at the level of family and below and published in 1987 (and some 50 names in Paullinia published by Radlkofer nearly a century ago which up till now escaped the attention!) became available within half a year, for the official publication date was 23 June 1988.
