Taxonomic revision of Microstegium s.str. (Andropogoneae, Poaceae)

Blumea: Biodiversity, Evolution and Biogeography of Plants , Volume 57 - Issue 2 p. 160- 189
Microstegium excl. Leptatherum (Andropogoneae, Poaceae) is revised. There are at least 16 species and one variety. By lack of type materials eight names could not be placed, while, moreover, another three were invalidly published. An identification key is provided, synonymy, descriptions, and notes are given. A new combination is proposed.
