The author gives a survey of recent localities of Ranunculus hederaceus L. in the Netherlands. This species is not so rare in our country as was thought by SEGAL (1967) and others. The relations of the Ranunculetum hederacei to the Cardamino-Montion and to the Callitricho-Batrachion are discussed. Ecologically the Ranunculetum hederacei apparently requires an open, eutrophic environmen*.
