During his stay at the Rijksherbarium, Leiden, in November 1963 P. Aellen (Basel), specialist in Chenopodiaceae, revised most of the Netherlands material of this family. An enumeration of the more important results, viz. the first record for the Netherlands of 4 species of Chenopodium, 7 hybrids in this genus, and 2 species of Atriplex is given.
