The author describes three associations of the alliance Nanocyperion flavescentis as they occur in Twente (prov. Overijssel). The Cicendietum filiformis, formerly relatively common there, has now disappeared for the greater part; the Spergulario-Illecebretum and the Isolepido-Stellarietum are still found in several localities.
