TitleDe indicatiewaarde van het genus Taraxacum voor het beheer van graslanden
JournalGorteria : tijdschrift voor de floristiek, de plantenoecologie en het vegetatie-onderzoek van Nederland
AbstractTaraxacum inventories in several meadows all over the Netherlands seem to indicate that a less varied management involves a decrease in total number of dandelions as well as a decrease in number of species. Taraxacum species can be classified in a range from more to less dynamic habitats. T. nordstedtii is the last species to disappear, T. adamii the last but one.
The distribution of Taraxacum (sect. Vulgaria) species in semi-natural grasslands gives some indication about the causes of the qualitative decrease. It is still doubtful whether certain species or combinations of them should be considered as characteristic of certain forms of management.
