Frutescent species of the genus Dorstenia L. (Moraceae) in the Paleotropics

A revision is presented of the group of frutescent Dorstenia species with a single row of appendages on the margin of the receptacle which occur in rain-forest areas of tropical Africa. The group comprises : D. dorstenioides (Engl.) M. Hijman & C. C. Berg, D. involuta M. Hijman & C. C. Berg, D. turbinata Engl., D. angusticornis Engl., D. alta Engl. and D. scaphigera Bureau.
